Colorado River map
Introduction

Tailwater follows the Colorado River downstream — from the cold, braided channels of the high country to the cracked silt of a delta the water no longer reaches. Made over a single season of travel, these frames trace what the river leaves behind: the towns, the fields, the long light on stone. Less a map than a question — where does all that water go, and what remains once it is gone?
